Simple V13 New Features

New setting under Options > General > File Management which automatically saves the job file when the job's state changes (e.g. member cut).

New setting under Options > General > File Management which automatically moves a job to a specified folder once complete (i.e. all members in the member list are marked as cut).

This feature allows the operator to declare that a job is complete, which will invoke a web notification, auto close and/or auto archive feature (if enabled). Typically, these features determine when a job is complete themselves. However, in some cases, it is more practical for the operator to mark the job as complete himself.

New setting under Printer... > Markings > Truss Markings which prints black lines on the members (also visible in the print preview) to show the orientation of nail plates in accordance with the industry standard.

Panel numbers are now printed on both the top side and edge of plates when trench cuts are present (prior to V13, they were only printed on the edge in that case).

A new window has been added for creating, editing and removing member designation labels. It is accessed by clicking the Customise button under Printer... > Markings > Member Designation. Technicians no longer need to edit the Simple.ini file and operators should be able to make changes without assistance. Additionally, the Leading/Trailing End setting is no longer a global setting and is now set per member designation group.

A red/green indicator light now appears in the Manual Mode window which denotes whether the blade is spinning or not.

A toggle button has been added to enable or disable the Stak'n'Gap. It only appears on the toolbar if a Stak'n'Gap is connected to the saw.

A new window has also been added that displays the current status of the Stak'n'Gap and lists all boards being tracked. A button for clearing the status is also available. This window is accessed by selecting Stak-n-Gap... under the Tools menu.

If a Packfeeder 2 is connected to the saw and selected as Bunk Feeder in the General settings, a dedicated status icon is displayed in the notification area of the Control Bar. Clicking on this icon will open the Packfeeder 2 interface (standalone application).

The materials list can now be exported to CSV and TXT files. Prior to V13, XML was the only export format supported.

Three new columns have been added to the statistics file. The first one is to track what time the first cut of the day is, the second is the time of the last cut of the day, and the third is the percentage of uptime of the day. The uptime percentage compares the operating time (i.e. cutting time) against the time difference between the first cut and the last cut of the day to determine how much of the workday is being efficiently used cutting.
