Inspect the printer cables

- Isolate the saw electrically.
- Make sure all visible cables around the printer are secure and not prone to being pinched.
- Make sure the printer encoder cable is secure and tied to the printer carriage so that it will not get caught in normal operation.
- Make sure the bend in the cable from the encoder gland is not too tight.
- Lift the printer cover.
- Remove the ribbon cable cover and the print module cover.

Inspect all wiring, ribbon cables and connectors for any signs of damage, wear or chafing.
Note: pay particular attention to the ribbon cables going to the side print heads.
- Replace as required.
- Make sure the ribbon cables are routed correctly and not over-tensioned.
- Refit the ribbon cable cover and the print module cover.
- Close the printer cover.
- Turn on the electrical isolation switch on the front of the saw.
